DH Anticounterfeit attends ACG Intellectual Property Roadshow in the UK
DH Anticounterfeit took part in an Intellectual Property Roadshow organised by The Anti-Counterfeiting Group (ACG) on 10th March, 2016 in Telford, England.
Telford is one of the fastest growing new towns in the UK. Situated near the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, Telford is successfully building its name as a town of the future by attracting hi-tech businesses, which are taking up residence in the gleaming office buildings that have sprung up in recent years.
It is perhaps fitting that the ACG IP Roadshow chose Telford as one of its stops across the UK and Ireland. This series of events aims to create an informal networking platform for professionals within the IP community to come together and share practical tips and knowledge about how to spot counterfeits.
Like other editions of the roadshow, the Telford event was open free-of-charge to enforcement officers in the area, who had the opportunity to view several genuine and fake articles on display at the stands of brand owners that are members of the ACG.
Speakers were on hand throughout the day to share practical insights about the state of anti-counterfeiting efforts and the newest technology being developed to help IP teams, police, and custom officers curb the flow of fake items at every stage of the trading chain.
DH Anticounterfeit was among the exhibitors at the roadshow. Our team presented our case management IT solution and highlighted the benefits that a centralised, web-based system offers to IP teams.
